Industry compatible navigation and custom shortcut
i downloaded, installed, was about to briefly test it before purchase it. Then i realise that i dont have the choice of navigation, i'm stuck with one type of navigation and no custom shorcut, so i didnt purchased. Please, fix this.
Materials / Matcaps in Render
The Viewport rednering should have matcaps, the default gray (lit) can stay as is.
Snapping for Objects & Shapes
There should be a possibility to snap objects and 3d shapes to: a) Grid (possible already) b) Faces of other objects c) corners of other objects (low prio)
Grid Scaling and Measures
The grid's dimenstions and scaling can be configured. Also measurement units like cm, mm, m, inch etc. can be used
Gizmo Local / World
We need the gizmo in local and world orientation.
Live Booleans
A larger concept for 0.6.0 alpha, first steps are done (CPU based), the underlying datastructures wotk for GPU based implementation.
Support for macOS
That would be something new, since MagicaGSC only runs on Windows. And Blender also runs on macOS.
Image backdrop
We need a tool to place an image in the background / viewport for tracing.
Array Draw Tool
A circular and linear array feature should be available for the Draw Tool
Lattice Tool
Lattice tool to deform object in X,Y,Z with cage 2x2x2 to 8x8x8
Move Brush / Tool
Brush or Tool to move Geometry with a configurable falloff
Array as Quick Op in Viewport
Arrays for objects and shapes needs to be defined as comfortable actions rigt in the viewport so that we can use objects, gizmo, center as pivots. All parameters shoud be configured in the viewport as Gizmo overlays (like in Symmetrize) and the Array Tabe in the properties panel can be removed then.
Object resample option
To remove artefacts or to resmaple object with a higher resolution there shouuld be an option to remesh / resample for an object.
Grid snap key press
The grid snapping for move with the mouse should be possible wth Control or Shift Key pressed. So shift key pressed and mouse movewhen move gizmo is activated is grid snapping.
Filament as render engine
We checkout Filament as render engine for PBR / HDRI rendering in the viewport. We are evaluating it atm
